The Florist/Decorator/Visionary

Liz Canaan Roberts has been my friend since conception. Sounds gross, but let me explain and soon you'll be wishing you had one of these friends.

Our moms have been best friends since college, so we literally have known each other our whole lives. She is like a sister to me. In fact, the whole family is practically a second-family. Ever since meeting Robbie, Liz kept insisting that I just admit we were going to get married and get on with it!

Well, when we finally did decide, Liz was quick to volunteer her creativity and time putting together the flowers, decorations, and a vision of the wedding reception. She spent hours and hours researching online, ordering supplies, and constructing the beautiful flowers and decorations you see below. She is seriously so so kind. So take a gander at the pictures below that captured her handiwork.

Liz and her daughter Dinah.

Me and my niece, Marie. Liz made fabric flowers for the
girls in the families to match the vintage theme.

Robbie sporting his Liz-made boutineer.

The goods.

Table centerpiece. (I bought vases from D.I.
and spray-painted them white.)

The bouquet. She wanted to match my
Robin's egg blue shoes.

Liz spear-headed the set-up.
No one could have done it better.

Liz was even sick all day during the wedding and reception, but she didn't let out a peep, because she didn't want me to worry about her. Now don't you wish you had such a best-friend-since-conception as Lizzy?

ps. She has an etsy shop here!

  1. It is awesome to have a best-friend-since-conception like that. Except mine wasn't from conception, but we joke that our spirits are siamese twins.

Liz and you even look so much alike...from the pictures anyway. BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!!! BOTH OF YOU! Inside and out.

    Love you Sarah lady-
    Jamee

P.S. I forgot to tell you that I absolutly love the theme you chose for your wedding. Perfect!
